Getting in the mood for winter
24th September 2011
Warren Miller’s 62nd snowsports film is coming out this Autumn. The latest offering from the company, Warren Miller Entertainment, is called Like There’s No Tomorrow. Sit back and enjoy.
The annual arrival of the Warren Miller film is yet another sign that winter is on its way.
For many they are part of the run up to the winter season and we will be publishing further details of the UK screenings later on PlanetSKI.
The year’s film was shot in five continents at some of North America’s well-known resorts and Chile, India, New Zealand and Norway.
There are also some appearances from skiers, past and present, from the US Team. Julia Mancuso, Steven Nyman, Daron Rahlves and Tommy Moe took part in some of the sequences from Chile.
The film is narrated by Olympic gold medalist moguls skier, Jonny Moseley.
Here’s the official trailer for the film:
While below the veteran WME cameraman, Tom Day, discusses the right conditions for a time-lapse shot.
The films are not actually made by the man himself as he sold the rights a while ago and there was a bitter and lengthy legal dispute recently as we reported on PlanetSKI.
