The No1 awards ceremony for UK snowsports is back. Once again PlanetSKI is on judging panel & YOUR vote is needed. Now!

The World Snow Awards aims to recognise the very best companies, brands and resorts.

It is run by The Telegraph Ski & Snowboard and honours the top performers from the past winter and the most promising prospects for the ski season to come.

It’s now in its 6th year.

There are 131 entrants with the shortlist just announced.

23 awards are up for grabs.

It is perhaps the longest shortlist we have seen and all entrants are listed at the end of this article.

Some of the categories are open to public vote:

  • Best Chalet Company
  • Best UK Tour Operator
  • Best Snowsports School
  • Best UK Snowsports Retailer

In each of these categories, companies submit entries that are whittled down to a shortlist of the very best by a judging panel made up of The Telegraph Ski & Snowboard editorial team before being voted for by the public.

Last year 7,550 votes were cast and even more are anticipated for the 2017 awards.

So, if you want your say then get voting folks!

The others 9 categories are judged by a panel of experts with the head of Telegraph Ski Content,  Henry Druce, acting as chairman and keeping the debates on track.

The PlanetSKI editor, James Cove, has been on the judging panel since the awards started back in 2012.

“It has been an honour to be involved since the awards started and great to see them evolve over the years as they gain recognition and respect. There are so many great organisations and people in our industry and it is a privilege to add my input,” said James.
