5 SNOW CENTRES IN 1 DAY
18th September 2017
Fancy riding at all five of the country’s indoor centres in less than 10 hours? The Snow-Camp Rally is back and you can join in.
After a long break, the popular fund-raising event is back on the calendar this year and is on the lookout for skiers and snowboarders who want a challenge.
All you need to take part is a team of four, a vehicle and a desire to raise money for a good cause.
The rally involves skiing or snowboarding at all of the country’s indoor snow centres, putting in as many laps of each slope as you can in 30 minutes before driving to the next.
Fancy dress is encouraged.
The rally will take place on Friday 10th November and is being organised by Snow-Camp, the youth snowsports charity.
It starts at The Snow Centre at Hemel Hempstead before heading to Sno!Zone in Milton Keynes, Sno!Zone in Castleford, Chill Factore in Manchester and the Tamworth Snowdome.
It costs £25 per person to enter and access to each slope is free.
The winning team is the one that collectively rides the greatest number of slopes across the day.
Snow-Camp says it has a “a foolproof measurement system in place!”
The money raised will support the charity’s work with inner city young people.
