This is the year for short ski breaks.

The snow in Europe in recent years has been… changeable.

Seizing the opportunity when snow is good and prices are low is the way to go.

There are more flights planned out to the Alps as everyone is looking forward to the coming season.

So the long weekend, or a ski weekend, is becoming more and more possible and prices are low.

Inghams is getting on board too, and has expanded its short breaks programme.

And it has brought on some top resorts:

Kuhtai, just 22 miles from Innsbruck sits above 2,000m and considered a snow-sure resort perfect for intermediates.

Murren in the Jungfrau refion of Switzerland is a peaceful village, only accessed by cable car.

The Inferno is the longest amateur downhill ski race in the world; now there’s a draw.

Four more resorts are added to Inghams’ winter programme this year.

Claviere is part of the huge Milky Way ski area.

It is Italy’s oldest ski resort and located just on the French border.

Livigno is re-joining the Inghams ski programme this winter.

It is a duty free resort; Prices are low and the altitude is high.

Pila offers snow-sure skiing with quiet pistes; ideal for intermediate skiers and snowboarders.

A 20-minute cable-car links Pila with historic Aosta.

Les3Vallees resort Les Menuires is the affordable resort with great access to the entire ski area.

This is a self-catering basis and includes flights and transfers in January 2018.
