A new James Bond cinema experience has been built inside the summit of the Gaislachkogl Mountain in Sölden. It opens this winter. NEW
The project intends to be an ‘immersive, interactive, and educational experience’ that brings visitors inside the world of 007.
“Our aim with 007 ELEMENTS is to tell the story of the making of 007 films in an ultra-modern, emotive and engaging way,” the creative director, Neal Callow, explains.
“We want to use this incredible location to place our guests into Bond’s environment, and bring the stories to life in a unique and unforgettable way.”
Callow was the art director on James Bond films Casino Royale, Quantum of Solace, Skyfall and Spectre.
The new construction sits above 3,000m and is built into the mountain.
As you’d imagine, it has spectacular views of the surrounding Tirol.
Since Spectre came out in 2015, PlanetSKI has been back and forth from Solden to ski and enjoy its Bond reputation:

Where the name 007 ELEMENTS came from:
It reflects the visitor’s journey through a series of galleries, each distilling the craft of the signature elements that define a James Bond film.
The architects of the project, Obermoser Architects, also did the ice Q restaurant on the summit of the Gaislachkogl and the Gaislachkogelbahn and Giggijochbahn cable car stations in Sölden.
