IGLU SKI UPGRADES WEB SITE

Iglu upgraded its web site last autumn as we reported at the time.
It aimed to align evolving technology with advancing consumer needs.
It has since been nominated for several awards including, Best Travel Agent Website and Best for Holidays at the 2017 Travolution Awards and Travel innovation Award and the World Snow Awards 2017 presented by The Telegraph.
Now improvements to igluski.com include a more responsive design that can automatically adapt its display to fit any size device, and enhanced search logic.
Iglu Ski said it has seen the number of customers connecting from a mobile device rise 57% year on year and tablet traffic is up by 16%.
The total traffic for the Iglu Ski desktop website has gone up by 20% year on year.
Iglu also merged its dedicated Lapland website onto Igluski.com in August, leading to a 1,100% increase in enquiries.
“The past 12 months have been a significant year for Iglu Ski with the launch of the new website and advances in marketing channels,” said the Ski Marketing Manager for Iglu, Krystelle Kubicki.
“We are taking the best ski holiday website in the industry and making it even better by enhancing the website so that consumers can find holidays using voice search,” she added.
Next up in development plans are a voice search function.
