Destination Ski – a ski travel agency that promises to get you the best prices and best options on your winter break.

Destination Ski works to get people skiing on holidays in Canada, France and Andorra.

An eclectic, but good selection to concentrate on, no?

“We’re a team of experienced skiers and snowboarders, having lived and worked in various resorts in France, Andorra, Canada, USA and Austria, and also having skied in Scotland, Spain and New Zealand.”
So they pretty much are experts that have picked up the best knowledge of all ski areas from around the world.
What do they offer that’s different from the rest?
“Ever since we launched our ethos was built around flexibile ski holidays…”

It’s fully independent and has access to all the major holidays of UK ski tour operators – including Inghams, Crystal and Neilson.
Plus tailormade package holidays are an option too.

“No matter what you’re looking for we can arrange it for you:

“Whether a full week, a short break or something different,” the Destination Ski team promises.

Resorts: Arinsal – El Tarter – La Massana – Pas de la Casa – Soldeu
“When thinking of a ski holiday, many naturally automatically think of skiing in the Alps,” says Steve from Destination Ski.
“However, you may want to think a little outside the box and try heading to the Pyrenees instead, to hit the slopes on a ski holiday to Andorra.”

There are two ski areas to choose from in Andorra: Grandvalira with 240km of slopes and Vallnord with 93km of slopes.

“Andorra has pretty much cleaned up with being known for creating the cheap ski holiday,” Steve explains.
“But less so now, as so many packages offer low prices to many ski areas.”

Gone are the days when Andorra was ‘bargain basement’ but there are still great reasons to ski there for its value.
And, money aside, the atmosphere is great.
Beer, Spanish food, snowboarders and skiers from Barcelona, and good vibes.
It’s important to consider extra costs when taking a ski holiday.”
The extra costs, such as lunch on the mountain and apres, really rack up.

And these are a little easier on the wallet in Andorra, and in the Pyrenees in general.

Both Grandvalira and Vallnord have “lift pass & lunch” deals and in Andorra a pint will cost you €4 with a huge amount of happy hours on top…
The hard question: Which Andorran resort should you choose?
The three main ski resorts of Andorra are all so different.
  • Pas de la Casa is the liveliest of the resorts, with lots of great bars and a couple of nightclubs,
  • Soldeu is a hit with families and those wanting lessons (due to the excellent ski school)
  • Arinsal is number one for beginners
