PlanetSKI loves a bit of yoga to counteract the skiing.
Well, some of us do…
Winter or summer, Senior News Reporter Katie Bamber always manages to find somewhere to practice.
“Practicing yoga outside is something really special,” Katie says.
“Especially in such a dramatic landscape as up in the mountains.
“The peace, the complete isolation from the normality of life – for me in the city – the quiet and connection to nature;
“There’s nowhere better.
“And at altitude you can get a good rush from the yoga with some extremely powerful effects on the mind and body.”

The rush of doing yoga outdoors is huge, & infinitely more so when practicing at 2,800m
– Is it the altitude or just the scenery?
