There's no denying that ski touring is on the rise, and Action Outdoors is feeling this demand.

If you want to really escape the crowds, properly experience the back country and aren't afraid of a bit of hard work then ski touring is for you.

Touring gives you access to anywhere you want to go.

The wilderness, the views, the fresh tracks and feeling of personal achievement is what makes ski touring a true passion for so many.

But it is important to know what you're doing and prepare yourself what what is out there in the great backcountry.

Action Outdoors has a number of ski touring courses depending on your ski ability and your level of fitness.

So if you are super fit, love to break a sweat but aren't necessarily a very strong skiers there is a course for you.

"The range of off-piste and ski touring courses we run goes way beyond any other tour operator and whilst we have holidays for all levels of skiers and snowboarders, the opportunity for people to explore off-piste terrain whilst keeping costs to a sensible level, has proved very popular - hence the increase in courses on offer this winter," Action Outdoors Managing Director, David Robertson, says.

"Anyone thinking about getting into off-piste skiing or touring right through to experts who would like professional guiding in unknown areas has a course on offer for them," David says.
