ONE FOR THE SKI TEACHERS
Monday November 5, 2018 - Email this article to a friend

LEAD Camp is back & with a new line-up of industry experts hand picked to help us Learn: Explore: Aspire: Develop.

Ski tuition isn't like it was it was 20 years ago...

It's about the emotions, the understanding, nature and feeling, as well as about ability.

It's moved beyond the sole instruction of 'bend your knees'.

And, if you've skied with the British Alpine Ski School (BASS), you'll have experienced its collaborative approach to coaching.

BASS promises ski performance breakthroughs for advanced and expert skiers.

But this is one for those who provide that experience...

BASS Pro is dedicated to the ongoing professional development of ski teachers.

And that development flourishes when ideas and experiences are shared between peers.

So LEAD was born, to create an environment for snowsport professionals to explore and as an event to trigger inspiring conversations.

The development of ski teaching is almost as dynamic as skiing itself.

In December 2018, the LEAD Conference will be back with a new line up of presenters with fresh content.

The course runs on Monday 10th December from 10.30 - 16.00.

The venue: Palais des Sports, Parc des Dereches, Morzine.

It'll be a unique event for instructors to Learn, Explore, Aspire and Develop, just in time for us to start this season full of new ideas.

What did client's say following the last LEAD convention?

"I found all the talks very interesting and particularly likes the different angles you all approached the subjects from."

"The presenters were all pretty inspirational and it was great to listen to people with such great experience in the industry."

"It was good to see a few familiar places and meet some new people."

"The knowledge that came from all of you and all the different ideas in ways of approaching a lesson really made me want to explore as many different ways of taking a lesson as possible... with the learner in mind."

Many also commented on how good it was as a social get together, a meeting of pros.
