Copenhill in Copenhagen, Denmark, is the first ski slope in the world to be built on a waste management centre.

The slope is 440m long and made of plastic.

It will have a ski lift and a magic carpet.

It opens next month and will have a rental and ski shop, a café and an après ski bar.

The plant claims to be the most efficient waste burning and energy-generating plant in the world.

It has been designed to process 400,000 tons of waste every year.

It will generate heat for 150,000 households and low-carbon electricity for 550,000 people.
