All are on the IKON Pass that's about to enter its winter.

And we understand that some European resorts will be added shortly - see the video interview below with PlanetSKI's editor, James Cove.

Details of the new pass and its benefits were unveiled on Monday evening at the Ellis Brigham flagship store in Covent Garden, London. with more than 100 people present.

More than 100 people were there to hear about the pass, the skiing and snowboarding on offer through the IKON resorts and to get in the mood for the approaching ski season of 2018/19.

Ellis Brigham hosts a range of fascinating talks at its main stores.

From the mountaineer Alan Hinkes, OBE, who is the only British person to have climed all 14 of the 8,000m peaks in the Himalayas:

On Monday it was the turn of IKON - we have reported on the IKON Pass in the past on PlanetSKI:

Here below is the video from the London event on Monday night with James Cove and full IKON Pass details (from a noisy party!):

The IKON pass from Alterra Ski Company has squared up against the Epic Pass that has been offered for several years by Vail Resorts.

To choose between the Epic and IKON, skiers and boarders will have to check which collective pass features more of their top pick resorts.

Here's more on the battle between the two passes as we reported on it last winter when the IKON was announced:

As well as 30-odd resorts on the IKON Pass, there is also a heli skiing company.

Pretty special heli skiing, at that.

Canada's Coast Mountains get a lot of snow.

Further East, inland, the Kootenays are famous for snow quality.

CMH Heli-Skiing runs its expeditions between the two ranges where the snow is pristine, bringing you to heights, peaks and snow untouched by other skiers and boarders.

The company has come up with its own virtual reality experience of the heliskiing it offers.

And, like the heliskiing experience, the standard is miles above any other virtual headset and story you've tried before.

And if you ever need an injection of excitement for skiing, or a boost to book some heliskiing, get yourself somewhere to try this.

We tried it and all we say is 'get us to the snow...'

Get us on CMH's adventures, actually.

It's bookings are near to full for the year 2020.

The CMH Heli-Skiing & Summer Adventures were showcasing Lines of Sight: A Guided Virtual Realty Experience.
