Sensibly priced coach transfers in the French Alps so you can spend your Euros on the fun side of skiing...

Does anyone else sometimes forget to factor in the cost of airport-to-resort transfers when planning for a ski holiday?

Whilst flight prices can be amazingly cheap in Europe, sometimes transfers can really sting.

Here's a low cost option for getting you to some of the biggest name resorts in France.

(At PlanetSKI we like to keep costs down where possible to save £££ for the fun stuff.)

Ben's Bus operates shared ski transfers from Grenoble Airport, Geneva Airport and Lyon Airport.

Transfers cost as little as £40pp.

Or, if you're travelling to Alpe d'Huez or Les Deux Alpes, there are tickets for £26pp.

The shuttle buses run every weekend during the winter season and on some weekdays to certain destinations.

Last bonus: although it's a low-cost company, there are no extras for carrying ski equipment.

New this season - Winter 18/19

Ben's Bus will be launching a new Day Trip service between Alpe d'Huez and Les Deux Alpes on Wednesdays.

Now you can fit even more skiing into your ski week by visiting another ski area.

Even better, these two resorts have a scheme where if you  buy a 6-day lift pass, it covers one day's skiing in the other.

Ben's Bus passengers can arrange this return transfer between the resorts for £18.50pp.

English-speaking reps meet you at the airport to help out guests and show them to the coaches.

They'll ensure your holiday gets off to the right start, with a safe and comfortable journey up the mountain.

French drivers (who better to drive the French roads, eh?) take you up to your ski resort by bus.

"We pride ourselves on being the cheapest transport option on our routes, whilst still providing the best service," Ben's Bus says.

"We've got loads of discounts available, so you'll probably pay much less than the maximum quotes!"
  • A Geneva Airport Saturday Single ski transfer costs a maximum of £50.75pp
  • A Grenoble Airport Saturday Single ski transfer costs a maximum of £28.75pp*
  • A Lyon Airport Saturday Single ski transfer costs a maximum of £64.50pp

Ben's Bus is a UK based company and was started by Ben, a keen skier and snowboarder.

He saw the need for a quality, but cheap, ski transfer service.

'Here, here!'

Ben promises stress-free transport without the mega expense that transfers (private and group) so often add.

No need to faff about with planning public transport routes, or the hassle of putting snow chains on hire cars.

Every year Ben's Bus has grown both in the number of resorts it services and in the regularity of its buses.

"The only thing that has not kept up with our growth is our prices," it promises.

"Our Geneva, Grenoble & Lyon Airport Shared Ski Transfers remain the most competitive on the market."
