The International Ski Travel Market is hosting an event in China next winter as interest in skiing surges in the country. NEW


 

 

 


It will be held in Thaiwoo from January 5th - 7th 2020.

ISTM is now in its 6th year in Europe as this year's event was held in Ski Welt this week.

120 buyers and sellers from across the world were present - sealing the deals that make the snowsports industry run.

There were delegates from China, Japan and Vietnam -  alongside the ones from Europe and North America.

"The 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing have created huge interest and the Chinese market is now one of the fastest growing ones in the snowsports world," said the MD of ISTM, Luke Boulton.

‘Many other destinations around the world are now trying to attract the Asian market and we are planning for this to become an annual event."
