Free skiing for kids in Austria
Sunday July 8, 2012 - Email this article to a friend

Children skiing or snowboarding during low season in the Ski Welt will get a free lift pass. They need to be with an adult and it just for a small part of the winter.

The country's largest fully lift linked ski area, has announced children aged under 16 will be entitled to ski free of charge at low season dates - before Christmas week and in late March.

The SkiWelt has nearly 280km of piste shared between eight resorts including Ellmau, Hopfgarten, Soll and Westendorf.

It also operates Austria's largest snowmaking arsenal.

To qualify for the deal children must be accompanied by an adult buying a ticket valid for three days or longer.
