Inghams offers Champoluc for next season
Thursday May 14, 2015 - Email this article to a friend

The Italian resort is on the up and the UK tour operator has taken over the Hotel de Champoluc for 2015/16.

The resort is in the Monterosa ski area and is linked to Gressoney and Alagna.

It has been relatively undiscovered by British skiers - except by those in the know.

Last winter Ski Total offered holidays in the Hotel Breithorn in the village, and now Inghams is offering the resort too.

There has been growing interest in the area with its challenging off piste skiing, Italian charm and good value.

The new Inghams property sleeps 70-90 people.

"Champoluc is a delightful, authentic and unspoilt Italian ski village and we are sure it is going to be very popular with our guests," said the head of marketing for Inghams, Louise Newton, as she unveiled the details to PlanetSKI.

PlanetSKI visited the area last winter - see here for our report on the place.

And our day's skiing with the fastest skier on earth, Simone Origone, as we tore round the slopes.

The area has 180kms of slopes and skiing up to more than 3,000m.
