Ask Esprit
Saturday May 23, 2015 - Email this article to a friend

In a continuing online Q&A session an expert from Esprit Ski takes your questions on ski lessons for kids. It is happening now and ends at 6.

The family ski specialist is running a series of opportunities for people to ask an expert on a whole range of issues connected with family skiing.

Earlier this month it was about childcare as we reported at the time here on PlanetSKI.

Now it is all about ski lessons as the product executive, Julie Wicks, fields questions on Thursday May 28th between 5pm and 6pm.

She knows something about the subject as she used to work for the company in the 80s, left to raise her own family and has now returned.

- When is the best age to start lessons?

- Is it better to be in a group lesson or a private one?

- Will the instructor speak English?

- Should kids be in ski school all day or just half a day?

- What is the ideal ratio of kids to instructor?

- Do ski schools have helpers in case a child needs the toilet or wants to stop?

- Are there snowboarding lessons available?

These are just some of the topics that may be covered and there is sure to be many more.

For further details about how to take part then see here.

It all takes place live over on Facebook this coming Thursday.
