It'll soon be upon us so better get ahead... Ski Club of Great Britain's tour operator Freshtracks has released its brochure for next season.

There are touring, off-piste and development holidays running in Europe or further afield...

Norway ski trips in Narvik are fresh to the list, as are weekend trips to the Dolomites.

The Tirol's high resorts of Stubai and Pitztal will feature as new destinations for Freshtracks.

Touring in Narvik means exploring from sea to summit.

Plus the prospect of the Northern Lights, a traditional Scandinavian sauna and a Fjord-side lodge stay.

In the Dolomites

Now the Dolomites offers the most beautiful of scenery and a good setting to enjoy everything else the mountains have to offer aside from skiing.

PlanetSKI took the chance to explore Cortina d'Ampezzo towards the end of the winter season on a trip that enjoyed just a few ski turns.

Freshtracks is hosting a trip to Cortina concentrating on taking in the scenery and Italian food over what happens on the slopes.

A long weekend of 4-nights away is £599.

Bucket-list trips are still up there, such as cat skiing in Canada, powder adventures in Japan and a touring expedition to Europe's highest mountain.

Of course there are still skills courses in powder and off-piste, for example, hosted in Flaine and Chamonix.

Trips are led by a guide or instructor as well as a Ski Club Leader, with trips for families, single travellers and over 55s.

See more about the Freshtracks holidays on the Ski Club's website.
