For skiing in La Clusaz and Le Grand Bornand. It’s the perfect spot for a ski weekend & the company’s pioneering property.
The Aravis Lodge is the home of Ski Weekender.
“Your home-from-home for excellent service, and fully-supported, hassle-free ski holidays.”
It’s Ski Weekender’s longest-running location:
A sociable chalet-hotel, exclusively for the use of Ski Weekender’s guests.
Everything provided has been set up specifically to cater to the short ski break needs, including great food, on-site ski hire and a high level of personal service from the resident ski team.
It’s all been tailored to give guests the most amount of skiing with the least hassle.
What is a chalet hotel?
Essentially the best of both, combined.
There’s a lot more communcal space and facilities than in a typical chalet, but with an easy going, sociable feel.
Guests will often share a drink at the bar, unwind in the sauna, or doze in the comfy lounge after (another) slice of cake.
The dining room has seen some memorable meals, with 40+ people around large banquet tables.
Then the team is always on hand to answer questions about snow conditions, the best places to ski, where to have a leisurely lunch on the piste, or where to find fun après ski.
A quick run down of what comes with booking the Aravis Lodge:
Sociable chalet-style dining
Afternoon tea, & wine with dinner included
Full bar, sauna, gym and ski hire on-site
Our ski team on hand to help throughout
Private transfers to / from ski lifts
Snow reps to advise in the resorts
As the name might suggest, the Aravis Lodge is located in the midst of the Annecy – Aravis Mountains Ski Domain, in the village of Saint Jean de Sixt.
The resorts of La Clusaz and Le Grand Bornand are just 5 minutes / 2km away.
There’s no no need for public ski buses or long treks with your gear as Ski Weekender does personal drop offs and pick ups.
A look at skiing in the area:
Aravis Lodge Advantages:
As the Lodge is Ski Weekender’s own home base, it has much more flexibility.
This is so important, seeing as guests are on a shorter break time, and need to make as much of their long weekend away doing exactly as they please.
So that all guests are ready to get up and go skiing in the morning, Ski Weekender provides the following services for ultimate convenience:
A hot meal is provided on your first evening, regardless of what time you arrive, or if your flight is delayed
Onsite ski hire suite open at night until the last guest is fitted out, regardless of time of arrival
Guests can keep the room until 16:00 on your final day, for showering & changing before departure
There is a fleet of vehicles and friendly drivers for airport transfers, slopes transfers and evening entertainment
Guests are dropped off at the foot of the slopes first thing in the morning and are picked up in the afternoon
