Piste Bashers Going Green

An Italian company has unveiled a fully electric piste basher + a hydrogen powered groomer. A glimpse into a more environmentally friendly future?
The Husky eMOTION is made by the Italian company Prinoth.
It has a 190kWh battery and is the lightest electric groomer in the world.
The combination of light weight and power gives the machine up to 3hrs of running time with 140Nm of torque.
The company has also produced the Leitwolf h2MOTION.
It is a hydrogen powered machine is a capable of 544HP.
It has a running time of 4 hours.
The only emission out of the exhaust is water.
The two models are currently in concept form but could be the beginning of slope grooming going more eco-friendly.
