VIP SKI is opening a flagship property in the resort for this season, Bear Lodge. With heavy snow falling and superb early season conditions we have asked the VIP SKI’s Gareth Crump to update us from the resort.
“I’m sitting on a chair lift above Arc1950 and the snow is amazing – powder, powder, powder,” said Gareth.
“There is about 30cm of powder down in the valley so you can only image what conditions are like on the slopes.
“It’s a perfect opening day with not many people out on the slopes.”
“The weather has cheered up and we have some gorgeous sunny spells.”
There are covid-19 restrictions in place with a health pass needed to use the ski lifts.
Members of Gareth’s group were checked by the lift staff.
See here for the full details on the Covid-19 protection measures in Arc1950.
Plus VIP SKI has its own dedicated web pages to help people navigate all the restrictions:
“I’ll be updating you later on the snow conditions and what pandemic skiing is like, plus of course some details of our new flagship property, Bear Lodge,” added Gareth.
“Right back to the skiing….”
The resort of Arc 1950 le Village is situated in Paradiski, one of the world’s largest ski areas.
Combining Les Arcs, Peisey-Vallandry and La Plagne – the area has 425km of slopes.
The highest point is the top of the Aiguille Rouge at 3226m, with skiing down to Villaroger at 1200m.
This winter VIP SKI has partnered with the ESF to offer complimentary ski guiding on the first two mornings of a winter holiday when staying with VIP SKI at the new Bear Lodge Hotel.
Places are limited and available by prior reservation only.
The VIP SKI complimentary service is exclusively available to residents at the Bear Lodge in Arc1950.
Skiers and boarders must be competent on blue runs and capable on red pistes.
Instruction is not part of the complimentary guiding service.
