Skiing will be on offer in Colorado, California, Vermont, Oregon, Washington and Idaho.
Arapahoe Basin in Colorado has even seen some fresh snow in the past few days.
Silver Mountain in Idaho will also be offering some slopes for skiing and snowboarding over the Memorial Weekend.
In Vermont Killington has said it will be open.
Mt Hood Timberline is also due to be open with 3,500 ft vertical skiing on offer this weekend.
It then calls it a day even though the snows remain.
The resort says the closure is due to staffing levels, rather than snow conditions.
Then there’s Crystal Mountain in the state of Washington.
It’s going be open this weekend and then all weekends through to June 12th.
Mammoth Mountain in California has already announced that it will be open into June as it has seen some late-season snow.
We reported on it earlier on PlanetSKI:
The total for snowfall this winter season is 6.6m, and the top of the resort currently has a claimed 1m base.
Mammoth Mountain has even stayed open into early August a few times.
The USA has seen record numbers of ski visits this season according to a recent report from the National Ski Areas Association, NSAA.
It has reported record visitation at US ski areas for the 2021-22 season – a total of 61 million skier visits.
This is an increase of 3.5% over last season.
