Millie Knight to Represent England in Karate at Para Commonwealth Games

The former paralympic skier has been selected to compete for England in the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham.

Millie Knight’s debut Paralympics was the Sochi Winter Paralympics in 2014.

At the age of 15 she was the youngest ParalympicsGB competitor at any Winter Paralympics.

She was the flag bearer at the opening ceremony for ParalympicsGB and she came 5th in the slalom and giant slalom.

Four years later at the 2018 Paralympics in Pyongchang she took two silver medals in the downhill and super-G with her guide Brett Wild.

The pair also won bronze in the slalom.

In 2022, she won the gold medal in the women’s visually impaired super combined event at the delayed 2021 World Para Snowsports Championships.

She also won the bronze medal in the women’s visually impaired Super-G event.

Now she is turning her attentions to karate.

She has also recently become England champion.

Here at PlanetSKI we have followed her snowsports career closely over the years.
