Three Ski Patrollers Honoured for Saving Man’s Life

The incident happened at Wild Mountain in Minnesota, USA last December. 58-year old Charlie Mehr had a heart attack as he was getting on a lift.
The attendant alerted the ski patrol who were on the scene swiftly and carried out CPR and emergency proceedures.

Doctors said afterwards he had a 10% chance of recovery.
He had 90% blockage in his arteries and has since had triple bypass surgery
“It’s joyful, but it can also just bring me to tears. Just out of the blue. I could not have been here to be with the people I love, who love me,” said Charlie Mehr to local media.
