14th September 2022
Last modified on September 16th, 2022
Following the successful launch of Ski France’s Contactless Chalets in winter 2021/2022, Ski France has announced the expansion of its existing range with five new Contactless Chalets. NEW
Guests arrive at their Ski France chalet to find food in the fridge, chilled beer or wine ready to drink, a supply of firewood, and newly made beds.
Dinner, prepared by Ski France chefs and local Savoyard delicatessens, is made up of dishes ready to pop in the oven or heat on the stove, fresh salad ingredients to put together, and tasty desserts to enjoy.
In addition to food, skis or snowboards will be reserved at the local hire shop and lift passes will be booked.
Halfway through the week, the chalet team will clean the accommodation from top to bottom, replace towels and re-stock the fridge and cupboards with goodies.
Whilst resort staff are not actually in the chalet during the stay, they are at end of the phone to answer any questions and help whenever needed.
Ski France now offers more than 50 Contactless Catered Chalets across the French Alps in resorts such as Val d’Isère, Tignes, Méribel, La Tania, La Plagne and Alpe d’Huez.
Staying at a Contactless Catered Chalet can be good value, with a week’s stay costing less than £500 pp.
The chalets have been divided into two groups, Classic and Premium.
Although the price points are different, both will provide local produce and various ingredients for breakfast, afternoon tea/snack, a three-course dinner and drinks each day.
