The Tirol Prepares for Winter

A handful of glaciers ski areas are already open and the region in Austria is looking forward to the coming ski season. We look at what’s on offer this autumn plus see what’s new in the Tirol for this winter.

Home from Home in Tirol: New accommodation for winter 2022/23
Stylish rooms and suites, spectacular dining options, relaxing spa areas – Tirol’s many hotels, guesthouses and bed-and-breakfasts are always keen to move with the times and offer their guests an enjoyable stay in cosy surroundings.
That is why many of them have been hard at work over the summer renovating their premises or creating completely new accommodation options ready for the winter season 2022/23.
New travel routes to Tirol in winter 2022/23
The choice of travel options by rail and air to Tirol will once again be significantly expanded in the 2022/23 winter season.
WESTbahn rail is servicing Tirol for the first time, more precisely Innsbruck and as of December, there are new direct flight connections from Paris to Innsbruck with Air France.

From 4 September to 16 October, the fête will revolve around tradition, customs, mountain romance and culinary delights.
