Alpine Fleet has recently launched a transfer service for those wanting hassle free, convenient and great value transfers from Geneva Airport to ski resorts across the French, Swiss and Italian Alps.
Alpine Fleet claims that booking lines have been busy as people seek better quality and reliable alpine transfers.
“Alpine Fleet began transfers on Thursday 22nd December with a great season start, despite a lack of snow,” said co-Founder, Simon Carrelli.
” We have seen a large switch in business this year, despite this being our first year.”
The most popular destination so far has been Val Thorens, where holiday makers can rely on snow-sure conditions at higher altitude.
PlanetSKI was in Val Thorens back in December:
The season has now been boosted by heavy and regular snowfalls, resulting in steady flow of demand to all destinations.
On Saturdays there is a fleet of more than 30 vehicles on the road, from coaches to small premium cars.
Alpine Fleet’s service caters to all segments of the market.
There has also been an increase in demand for private and premium transfers.
“Our aim was to cover the market fully and I believe we are well on our way to just doing that, as clients put their trust in our hands,” added Simon.
Airport transfers to the Alps have often, in the past, involved either costly private transfers or cheaper but less flexible and far longer, shared bus transfers.
A clear booking tool on the Alpine Fleet website allows holidaymakers to choose the transfer for their needs and budget.
Transport options include private minivans to larger luxury shared options.
1. SHARED TRANSFERS: The best value option. Alpine Fleet offer shared transfers to some of most popular ski resorts across the Alps.
Alpine Fleet’s shared transfers are different to any competitor as each ski resort is covered extensively meaning all stops will be closer to a specified hotel or apartment, rather than just the local bus station.
Shared transfers offer the best value for money whilst also being the most environmentally friendly option.
Upon arrival, a uniformed Alpine Fleet rep will meet and greet clients and answer any questions.
The bus is a short distance from the airport terminal.
2. PRIVATE TRANSFERS: The most convenient way to reach a destination. Choose from a standard or luxury private transfer and travel in style.
Alpine Fleet’s transfers are family friendly – with all baby seats and toddler boosters provided free of charge.
Quick and easy transfers with no waiting time as a representative will be waiting in the airport arrivals hall.
Door to door private transfers take clients directly to their accommodation so no wading through the snow.
GENEVA AIRPORT
Alpine Fleet claims to take the hassle out of navigating Geneva airport, which has a Swiss and French side.
The majority of arrivals land on the Swiss side in Terminal 1 and charters arrive into Terminal 2.
Unlike most transfer companies, most Alpine Fleet vehicles have priority parking outside Terminal 1, ready and waiting to collect travellers.
On entering the Arrivals Hall from the baggage reclaim, take a left to locate Alpine Fleet’s dedicated transfer desk, staffed by English speaking reps.
Customers with any questions can also call a dedicated customer care line, which is open 24-hours a day, 7-days a week.
Download the unique Alpine Fleet vehicle tracking smartphone app to ensure complete peace of mind before and during a busy travel day and receive live SMS transfer updates.
