Most ski areas in the Austrian Tirol are open until Easter and beyond. Five of them are glacier resorts just an hour from Innsbruck.
Ski or snowboard in the morning and enjoy other pursuits in the afternoon.
Or head for one of those glacier resorts and ski all day.
The choice is yours.
Here are a couple of highlights.
Big Family Fun on Stubai Glacier
The Stubai Valley has four ski resorts, offering a wide choice of skiing, ski schools and special offer packages for the family.
On the glacier, young children can practise their turns at the Gamsgarten mountain station.
The Big Family Ski Camp, which is open until April, provides a safe environment for 4 to 15-year-olds to enjoy the snow.
BIG Ron’s Kinderland ski area in Schlick 2000 and a multitude of toboggan routes are reported to be in tip top condition right now.
Children aged 3 and above have the Big Family Kindergarten while the Big Family Kinderrestaurant also houses a play area for the kids.
The more advanced can tackle the BIG Family Boardercross with its steep turns and bumpy terrain.
And the BIG Family Fun Slope course features jumps, bumps and a high five with the mountain mascot Zottel.
You can ski the BIG Family Slalom to hone your racing and cornering skills.
Higher up the mountain at Eisjoch, there are freestyle obstacles and kickers in the Winter Snowpark.
Every Tuesday, you can take a ride on the BIG Family Pistenbully snow basher and take a look behind the scenes.
