Take the nine summit challenge in Kitzbühel, Austrian Tirol this October:
The nine-summit experience trail in Kitzbühel offers an exhilarating Alpine adventure.
It commences at the Bochumer Hütte car park, guiding hikers past the welcoming “Bochumer Hütte” en route to the first summit, the imposing Laubkogel.
Continuing along a breath-taking ridge, the path leads to Hahnenkampel, Rauber, and Saalkogel, each providing awe-inspiring views of the surrounding mountains.
The ascent to the fifth summit, Tristkogel, also incredible vistas.
After a brief stop for refreshment, the trail heads towards Torsee lake and the Teufelssprung summit.
The hike then proceeds to the seventh summit, Gamshag, leading to the Kleiner Schütz and the Schützkogel.
On the descent, hikers pass by the Schlichtenalm and the Niederkaseralm mountain huts, completing this unforgettable journey and leaving an enduring impression of Kitzbühel’s peak-filled beauty.
The hike takes a total of 11 hours and is best suited to experienced climbers.
