Body of Missing British Hiker Found in Swiss Alps

Aidan Roche vanished in June. After an extensive search and family involvement his body has been located. NEW
The 29-year old from Middlesborough was hiking in the Grindelwald area of the Bernese Alps in Switzerland when he vanished.
Despite a huge search at the time no trace was found.
His family launched their own efforts raising almost £32,000 to fund the search as we reported at the time on PlanetSKI:
Police have now found his body and the family has been informed.
His brother, Connor, has thanks the police for their efforts.
Aidan was hiking in the area on the twelfth day of a two-week trip.
The circumstances of his death have not been revealed.
