The ski transfer company began last winter operating from Geneva. It now offers transfers from other airports and to a range of new resorts. The new kid on the block goes up a gear.
When it launched last winter Alpine Fleet said its new service is for those “wanting hassle free, reliable and convenient transfers from Geneva airport to ski resorts across the French, Swiss and Italian Alps”.
It added that it offers “unrivalled shared and private rates, catering for all budgets”.
It seems to have fulfilled its promise and here at PlanetSKI we have asked the company to explains its success and outline its offerings.
“To be honest our performance last year surpassed all expectations and that is why we are expanding,” said the joint founder of Alpine Fleet, Simon Carrelli.
“Putting the customer first is the core of what we do, in an extremely competitive market.”

Simon founded Alpybus before selling it on, so he knows a few things about ski transfers.
“We offer shared, standard and luxury private transfers for any kind of group size,” said Simon to PlanetSKI.
“With a large pool of vehicles to choose from we are able to provide a simple private minivan transfer to arranging complex corporate events for thousands of people in coaches.”
Shared transfers make up 80% of the business and this winter the company is focusing on long weekend breaks in some of the French resorts.
It’s offering four daily services on Fridays and Mondays in a push to bring new long weekend clients to Three Valley resorts:
- Val Thorens
- Meribel
- Courchevel
Plus the Haute Tarentaise:
- La Plagne
- Les Arcs
- Tignes
- Val D’Isere
It is expanding from its Geneva operation and now offering services from Lyon and Grenoble airports in France, plus Zurich in Switzerland that offers options to reach resorts in Switzerland and Austria.
