New Short-Break Shared Transfer Service Launched

With more people interested in long-weekend ski breaks, Alpine Fleet has launched a shared service to some of the major French resorts. Bookings are reported to be going well.

Something for the weekend?

Alpine Fleet is offering transfers from Geneva airport to some of the major French resorts:

  • Val Thorens
  • Meribel
  • Courchevel
  • Tignes
  • Val D’Isere
  • La Plagne
  • Les Arcs

Shared transfers keep costs down, but on weekdays are either very infrequent or simply do not exist.

With a growing interest in people taking long-weekends on the slopes it seems there is a demand for such a service.

There are multiple departure times on Fridays and Mondays.

Tickets start at €55 per person.

In addition to the shared fixed point transfer passengers can also upgrade to a door to door service in these resorts which Alpine Fleet claims is a unique selling point.

“We are seeing a good uptake in our new long-weekend shared transfer services to the Tarentaise,” said Simon Carrelli, the co-founder of Alpine Fleet.

“All our other competitors do a standard fixed point drop, but we have resort taxis that will complete the last mile.”
