Jackson Hole Unveils What’s New for Next Winter

The resort in Wyoming USA has gone from a cult resort in the mid-80s to an essential stop on any serious skier’s bucket list. See what’s new for next season.

Jackson Hole Mountain Resort sits between Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks.

It’s known for its rugged, powder-laden terrain.

As it enters its first full season under the stewardship of new owners, who are committed to keeping the resort family owned, JHMR continues to push boundaries, both on and off the slopes.

We reported on the transfer of ownership earlier on PlanetSKI:

Over the past 30 years the resort has invested over $300 million in capital improvements, and its efforts to improve the resort and the experience was achieved by replacing or building new lifts.

For those seeking heart-racing descents, Sublette is the final lift to be replaced for this winter season offering faster uplift to the higher mountain terrain.

Jackson Hole Mountain Resort is split over two mountains.

Rendezvous is a haven for advanced skiers, but JHMR has also made strides in providing experience for intermediate and beginner skiers with easier terrain on Apres Vous, accessed by the Sweetwater Gondola and Teton and Casper chairlifts.

Over the past five years Jackson Hole has a limit on ski passes so that the ski area doesn’t become overcrowded and long queuing is avoided.

This winter the season runs from 29th November 2024 to April 13th 2025.
