Big Air Chur Opens FIS World Cup Season in Europe

It takes place in the Swiss resort this weekend.
The crème de la crème of freeskiing and snowboarding fill the entry list for the first Big Air World Cup.
There are five competitions with the women and men receiving the same prize money as they jump the same kicker at Big Air Chur.
British teenager, Mia Brookes, won the overall women’s title last year with three podiums and will feel ready to reach the top step, having further proved her temperament with a slopestyle world championships title in 2023.
She has already been on the podium this season with a silver at Cardrona in New Zealand.

“It’s the combination that’s so electric and eclectic! Freestyle sport AND music is Big Air Chur. There’s nothing else like it,” said an event spokesperson.
