Companies Producing Events for 2026 Olympics Announced

They are the Balich Wonder studios, Filmmaster and G2 Eventi-Casta Diva Group. The Torch Relays will be produced by AlphaOmega in collaboration with RNK. NEW

The Balich Wonder Studio will be in charge of the Opening Ceremoney that is set to take place on 6th February 2026 at the Giuseppe Meazza stadium in San Siro.

The studio has produced several Olympic ceremonies including Sochi 2014, and was also responsible for the Qatar 2022 World Cup Opening Ceremony.

Filmmaster will produce the Olympic Closing Ceremony on 22 February and the Paralympic Opening Ceremony  set for 6 March at the Verona Arena.

G2 Eventi-Casta Diva Group will produce the Paralympic Closing Ceremony, scheduled for 15 March at the Cortina Ice Stadium.

The project for the Olympic and Paralympic Torch Relay, which will cross the whole of Italy, has been entrusted to AlphaOmega in collaboration with RNK, which will support the Milan-Cortina 2026 Foundation.

“The concept for the ceremonies aims to create spectacular moments that showcase the history of each Milano-Cortina 2026 area, combining sports venues and Italy’s cultural heritage,” said the Director of Ceremonies for the Milano-Cortina 2026 Foundation, Maria Laura Iascone,

“There will be a common thread connecting the different ceremonies, but above all, as these are the first decentralised Games, we will have an Opening Ceremony in several locations to involve as many of the true protagonists of the Olympic and Paralympic Games as possible.”

2026 Winter Olympics

The President of the Italian National Olympic Committee , Giovanni Malago, has expressed the satisfaction of the International Olympic Committee with preparations for the 2026 Winter Olympics.

“We have carried out inspections and visits to the Predazzo Olympic Village. The IOC Coordination Commission gave positive feedback on the progress of the works,” said Malago.
