Norwegian Resorts & Andorra Strike Joint Lift Pass Deal

Season Pass holders in Andorra will get 5-days free skiing with the seven Norway – Home of Skiing resorts, with a reciprocal offer in place. It’s new for next season.

The seven resorts under the Norway – Home of Skiing umbrella are Geilo, Myrkdalen, Voss, Beitostolen, Norefjell, Narvik and Gausta.

A season pass for any of the resorts allow five days of skiing in Andorra.

“It is a win, win situation for all parties with season pass holders getting free skiing and the resorts benefiting from extra visitors,” said Geir Bottolfs from Norway, Home of Skiing.

“There has been great interest so far and we look forward to welcoming people with an Andorra season lift pass to Norway.”

He struck the deal with Ester Servat, the International Sales Manager from Grandvalira in Andorra with details released at the London Snow Show.

A delegation from Andorra was in Norway last winter exploring areas of collaboration and they met on the slopes of Norefjell.

PlanetSKI is a fan of both ski areas, and we visited both Norway and Andorra last winter.

The Norwegian resort of Gausta has already posted about the new arrangement on social media and it has met with interest.

Here at PlanetSKI we will be visiting Gausta next winter and look forward to reporting back on what the resort offers.
