Austria Lift Workers Receive 7.5% Pay Rise

The Vida union has achieved a real wage increase for 18,000 Austrian Lift Company staff.

“This results in an average wage increase of €207 from May 1st 2024,” said the head of the Vida union’s collective bargaining team, Walter Bacher.

Inflation in Austria stand at 6.8%.
