Snowsport England has appointed James Arnold as its new Chief Executive Officer.

He succeeds Maggie Still who is leaving to become CEO of British Ice Skating.

James started his career in marketing with Procter & Gamble before working in many well-known businesses in both the UK and Europe.

Over a twenty-year career, he has gained significant commercial, marketing, partnership and sponsorship experience including with ITV, Talksport, Bauer Media, the Rugby World Cup and FIFA World Cup.

Alongside his full-time roles, he also has 10 years of experience as a ski instructor, primarily at his local slope in Torquay where he also secured sponsorship.

“James was the perfect fit for where we are now.

“As well as being rooted in snowsport, he brings incredible experience of commercial success through marketing and partnerships with top brands.

“That will be invaluable for Snowsport England.”

He starts his new role on November 1st.

“A particular focus will be on strengthening our commercial proposition to drive participation and build pathways across our brilliant sport.”
