Preferred Candidates for 2030 & 2034 Winter Olympics Present Their Cases

The French Alps and Salt Lake City in Utah have put forward their bids to the Winter Olympic Federations.

Both bids are reported to have been warmly received.

The Future Host Commission will send its reports and recommendations to the IOC Executive Board which meets from 12^th -14^th June.

The Board will decide whether to put both bids forward to the 142nd IOC Session in Paris on 24^th July, two days ahead of the Summer Olympic Games.

The French Alps and Salt Lake City are expected present their bids to the IOC membership and a vote will be taken.

The vote will almost certainly approve both candidatures.
