Inghams Adds Ski Total Chalets

The ski chalets of Ski Total will exclusively operate under Inghams for next winter.

Both brands are part of the Hotelplan UK group but have been previously been offered as separate products.

At the start of the the winter that didn’t happen, 2020-21, Inghams included some of its sister brand’s popular Ski Total chalets in its programme.

Inghams says the permanent move is to ensure “the chalet holidays ‘Brits’ know and love remain an important part of what Inghams do”.

The chalets will be branded as Ski Total by Inghams.

“Having Ski Total on board is very exciting for Inghams,” Hotelplan UK CEO, Joe Ponte, said.

“By providing the same experienced Ski Total team and popular chalet options under our expert ski tour operator, Inghams, we are able to offer more of what our customers want in one place.

“With our ‘home from home’ chalet holidays sitting under the Inghams umbrella, alongside our hotel and apartment options, chalet holidays will remain an important part of our Inghams programme and we will continue to offer our customers the ski and snowboard holidays they know and love.”

It is seen as part of growing consolidation in the UK snowsports industry as the impact of Brexit and the Covid-19 pandemic play out.

Many operators are reducing their chalet stock as market conditions change.

Inghams is continuing to offer customers refund guarantees for next winter as part of its In Safe Hands campaign.
