More Ski Resorts in Australia Re-Open

The resorts in Victoria were allowed to open to locals only earlier this month, now the lifts are firing up in New South Wales. NEW

It has been a tough season for the Australian resorts with lockdowns and restrictions, but skiing and snowboarding is back on.

Perisher is the first main resort in New South Wales to fire up its lifts after the authorities ended some Covid-19 restrictions.

Hundreds of people turned out to make some long-awaited turns in the spring snow.

The neighbouring resort of Thredbo is reported to be welcoming skiers and snowboarders at the weekend.
