The US rock band will play the last of the closing concerts in the Austrian resort. Ischgl is changing its traditional end of season musical offerings.
Instead of a single huge concert on the final weekend in May there will be four concerts starting in April.
First up is Simply Red as we have reported here.
The final offering is Kings of Leon who will perform at the grand finale of the Ischgl ski season 2021/22.
They are performing April 30th at the “Top of the Mountain Closing Concert” at 2,320 metres above sea level.
Concert admission is included in the day ski pass.
The open-air concert on the “Ischgl Stage” starts at 13.00.
Expect a set with all the band’s many hits and songs from all eight of their albums.
Spring Blanc End of Season Concerts:
02.04.2022 Simply Red
10.04.2022 No Angels
17.04.2022 Max Mutzke
30.04.2022 Kings of Leon
As well as the main bands there will be more on offer including gourmet experiences and other musical treats.
There will be as sundowner events, mountain breakfast on offer and dine around options.
“Whether you are a passionate skier, sun worshipper, gourmet or music lover – the new event series “Spring Blanc” provides a multitude of reasons to welcome spring on the white slopes of Ischgl,” said the resort as it announced the Spring shake up.
The previous closing concerts have seen the likes of Elton John, The Killers, Robbie Williams, Kylie, Rod Stewart, Lionel Richie and many more.
PlanetSKI has been at a few of them.
Some of Ischgl’s slopes are above 2,000m so it is a good area for spring skiing.
“This year, guests can expect a colourful programme full of culinary delights and music on the slopes with the new event series “Spring Blanc” as well as unforgettable spring skiing,” said the resort.
