OVO Network Launches Winter 2022-23 with 11 New Chalets

Chalet Rental Specialist, OVO Network, now has over 300 high end chalets and apartments in over 30 ski resorts across the French Alps.

The resorts include the Aravis, Espace Diamant, Evasion Mont Blanc, Grand Massif, Chamonix Mont Blanc, Portes du Soleil, 3 Valleys, Grand Domaine, Paradiski, Sainte Foy Tarentaise and San Bernardo.

For winter 22-23 OVO Network has 11 new chalets available to rent, including new ones in the resorts of La Clusaz, Combloux and Châtel.

“The winter ski season has seen a huge rebound following the nervousness around travel during the pandemic,”  said the founder of OVO Network, Tim Andrews.

“Year on year, we’re seeing search volumes up almost 70% for winter arrival dates. The Christmas week, our most popular week, is already at 85% occupancy, while the New Year week is now at 55.7% occupancy.”

“There’s a renewed confidence in travel from the British market and elsewhere in Europe.

“This has combined with greater recognition of the high-end facilities and value for money now available in the French self-catering market, particularly in light of many catered chalet options ceasing over the last few years.”

OVO Network’s chalets in well-known resorts such as Chamonix and Megève continue to be popular, but demand for lesser known resorts – such as Manigod and Combloux – is strengthening each year.

Some of their top selling chalets are now in small Alpine villages unconnected to a ski area.

While they are further from the skiing, sometimes a 20-minute drive, they offer incredible facilities at a more attractive price.

New properties for this winter include:

●      Chalet Fanfoua in Combloux, which offers views of Mont Blanc and is just 500m from the skiing – from €1490 per week for up to nine guests (eight adults)

●      Ski-in ski-out Chalet Ruisselet in Châtel, offering views of the mountains and lake – from €2390 per week for up to 12 guests (10 adults)

●      The luxury Zaru Lodge in La Clusaz with its indoor swimming pool, piste views and lift – from €5590 per week for up to 14 guests (nine adults)

OVO Network has also introduced a growing range of smaller chalets and apartments for individual families and small groups.

The Solly Nook apartment in Châtel, for example, is new for this winter and has a hot tub, balcony, ski store and is adjacent to the ski bus stop.

To make family ski holidays easier, OVO Network also developed its Cool for Kids label, recognising those properties that offer an extensive range of family friendly facilities.

These properties have everything from stair gates and black out blinds, to toys, table tennis, Playstations and more, meaning parents can travel lighter.

Demand for these properties is always strong, particularly during the school holidays – over the February 2023 half term weeks (Feb 11 and Feb 18 2023) 47% of Cool for Kids properties are already booked.

Cool for Kids Chalet Alyssum, close to the centre of Le Grand Bornand, has a hot tub, sauna, enclosed children’s play area, board games, Playstation console and more. Sleeping up to 13 guests (12 adults), seven-nights rental starts from €1990.

Also Chalet Lydie can be combined with the chalet next door to hold up to 16 people.
