As you may have noticed on PlanetSKI our editor, James Cove, has been doing a 4-week road trip (with some occasional help from planes) in North America.
Here we look back at the trip with his daily blogs put up in chronological order.
He started off in Utah visiting some of the resorts around Salt Lake City – Park City, Deer Valley, Alta and Snowbird.
Then it was across the state to some of the resorts around Ogden – Snowbasin and Powder Mountain.
Though sadly not the cat skiing at Whisper Ridge as he and his travelling companion at the time, Alf Alderson, got lost!
The trip then moved to the neighbouring state of Colorado – Breckenridge, Keystone and the fabulous resort of Arapahoe Basin.
Next up it was a flight up to Calgary in Canada to ski the resorts around Banff – Norquay, Sunshine Village and Lake Louise.
Next James was back in Colorado visiting Vail, Aspen and Copper.
In Vail he skied with one of his hereos – the ex- GB racer, Martin Bell.
Then he headed to Jackson Hole in Wyoming and Sun Vally in Idaho and was joined by PlanetSKI’s senior news reporter, Katie Bamber.
And check out the final few days here as he hit Sun Valley in Idaho
And then headed back to Wyoming before finished where he started – Alta and Powder Mountain in Utah.
