It has just got a whole load easier as the resort joins the Norway, Home of Skiing group. Norway is a particular favourite of ours at PlanetSKI.
Voss is a resort with a spectacular lakeside setting on the west coast of Norway.
It has recently invested in a state-of-the-art cable car.
“Nestled right in the heart of Fjord Norway between two famous fjords, Sognefjorden and Hardangerfjorden, Voss has a stunning lakeside setting with the skiing on Mount Hanguren as its backdrop,” said Andy Hemingway, the Scandinavian Product Manager for Ski Safari that is now offering the resort.

Norway Home of Skiing is a brand that offers skiing at some of the best resorts in Norway: Geilo, Beitostolen, Hafjell, Kvitfjell, Norfjell, Narvik and Myrkdalen.
“The joining of Voss Resort to the NHOS family is simply fantastic news and a long time in the making,” said the CEO of NHOS, Trevor de Villiers.
“The new lift now makes Voss the perfect fit to the NHOS portfolio and complements the Mykdalen product perfectly as they are such different products making the West Coast of Norway’s ski offering even more exciting, with direct flights to Bergen every day from London Gatwick and Luton.”

Ski Safari offers two main accommodation options:
As we said PlanetSKI has not skied in Voss – yet.
We look forward to rectifying that situation soon…
