Skiweekends & Flexiski Join Forces

Both companies specialise in short breaks to the mountains and will be run by a parent company Ski Elements Ltd.

Flexiski has focused on 4* and 5* hotels and premium chalets, combining superior accommodation with a bespoke service across the Alps.

SkiWeekends provides short stays in hotels from 2* to 5* and operates  what it calls “comfortable” chalets in the French resorts of Morzine, Avoriaz and Courchevel.

Ski Elements is run by the former managing of SkiWeekends, Dan Fox.

Flexiski was bought by Hotelplan in 2019 as we reported at the time:

The details of what it was bought for, and then been sold on at, have not been revealed.

“We are thrilled to add flexiski alongside our SkiWeekends programme for this winter and delighted to have recruited staff with previous flexiski experience to our team, helping us ensure we continue to deliver the same experience that both flexiski and SkiWeekends customers are used to,” said the Managing Director of Ski Elements Ltd, Dan Fox.

The company says that by acquiring flexiski at such a late stage in 2021 we will be “focusing on delivering a smaller, but great quality product for this coming winter and looking for strong regrowth in the future, with addition of a wider variety of experiential mountain breaks.”
