September Summer Action in the Tirol

There’s a classic car rally in Kitzbuhel and the Ischgl E-Bike World Cup. Summer in the mountains ain’t over yet. Not by a long way.

The Kitzbüheler Alpenrallye classic car rally takes place in a beautiful setting amidst the stunning mountains landscapes in and around Kitzbühel.

This year it takes place between 7th-11th September.

The event attracts a multitude of classic car enthusiasts and offers them the opportunity to showcase and admire their vehicles.

The participants in the rally have to conquer 600 km of challenging mountain roads and can they choose to either race to the finish line or enjoy a more relaxing jaunt.

Only vehicles dating back to before 1975 can enter.

A selection of the finest classic cars from both the pre-war and post-war periods, including rare models from many major brands such as Bentley, Bugatti, Lamborghini, Porsche, Ferrari, Jaguar, Mercedes-Benz, Aston Martin and Rolls Royce.

At the other end of the spectrum the Ischgl E-bike World Cup that returns for its fourth edition, taking place on 2nd to 3rd September 2022.

Riders cycle the Jedermann route and finish under one of the three defined riding times and they can be in with a chance of winning bronze, silver, or gold.

The more advanced cyclists try the Elite route, which requires both technique and endurance.

During the event, participants also have the chance to trial the latest trends in the e-bike sector at the E-Bike Expo.

The entry fee for participation in the E-Bike World Cup is between €59/£50 and €70/£59.

For a starting place with a rental e-bike, an additional €39/£33 will be charged.

Registration deadline is 2 September 2022.
