Santa on the Slopes

He has been dashing around lately – paraponting over Avoriaz in France + pounding the powder in Sunshine Village in Canada. We look at his travels round the ski resorts of the world. UPDATED

It all started back on December 5th, when Father Xmas was in Verbier in Switzerland as many of the slopes opened for the season.

It’s where he usually makes his first turns of the season, and he brought some friends with him.

Next he took to the skies, and roof tops, of Avoriaz in the French part of the Portes du Soleil.

He has also found time to spend with Mrs Claus – mainly to prepare for the big day.

Ski resorts across the world have joined in the festive spirit.

Here’s Chamonix in France.

Other resorts have been passing on some festive goodwill.

And Santa has been at a few of PlanetSKI’s favourite resorts in North America.

A-Basin in Colorado, USA, to start with.

Then Jackson Hole in Wyoming.

Then he headed north to Sunshine Village in Alberta Canada.

If you spot Santa on the slopes then do let us know, as we will be updating this report over the Festive Season.

Happy Xmas one and all.
