Which Ski Resorts Are Still Open?

Quite a few places are open & April conditions are the best in recent years.  UPDATED

As Spring blossoms in the UK and at lower altitude in the Alps people think winter and skiing is over.

Not so.

How do we know?

Mainly because PlanetSKI has been in France and Switzerland these past few weeks making the most of the excellent April snow.

At low altitude it may have been like this:

95% of resorts in the Alps are now closed, so that means 5% are open.

You can only be in one resort at any one time, so it really doesn’t matter what conditions are like in all the others.

Or whether they are open or not.

All one needs to do is choose carefully and head high.

Follow this link if you want to see what current conditions are like at this time of year:
