Fancy Taking Part in the L3V Enduro this Easter?

For 20 years more than 1,000 amateur skiers, families and pros have been coming to take part at the event in Les3Vallees, France.

WHERE?

Les3Vallees is the world’s largest linked ski area and the event offers the opportunity to ski the entire ski area.

There’s a choice of five departure resorts:

  • Courchevel
  • Meribel
  • Les Menuires
  • Val Thorens
  • Orelle

WHAT?

In teams of three people ski, snowboard or telepmark the slopes with nine challenges including:

  • Giant slalom
  • Biathlon
  • Big Air
  • Boardercross
  • Family schuss

The races are timed or judged and the results depend on the total number of points won during each event.

The races occur on slopes that are dedicated and secure.

The races and events are not compulsory and each team can decided what to do and how seriously to take it all.

Participants must follow the rules of safety and conduct in the ski area.

The link routes between the events are not timed.

Bibs can be collected from locala tourist offices and the Sports Club on Saturday March 30th.

WHO?

There are three categories:

PRO

  • Minimum 2 FFS members in the smae team.
  • Minimum 2 ski pros in the same team.
  • 3 children enrolled in a Ski Club, regardless of their age.

FAMILY

  • 1 adult and 2 children under 16 with a minimum of 2 people from the same family.
  • 2 adults and 1 child under 16 from the same family.
  • 3 children under 16 with a minimum of 2 children fromt he same family.

AMATEUR SKIER

Teams are neither pro or families

“In a friendly and sporty atmosphere, in teams of 3, regardless of your category (pro, amateur athlete, or family), your goal will be to enjoy a superb day of skiing punctuated by 9 original and playful challenges,” said a description from the organisers.

PlanetSKI was due to take part last season, but the weather didn’t quite play ball:

For the 3Vallees Enduro there is a main refreshment stop in Méribel Mottaret and a BBQ in Val Thorens.

– Take advantage of the early booking rate until March 3: €25 / person
– Normal rate from March 4 to March 28: €29 / person

Online registration closes on March 28 at 10:00 am

ON SITE IN RESORT:
– Possibility to register at the Tourist Offices and Sports Clubs on March 29 & 30 at the rate of €39 / person

3 Vallées day pass (adult base) at the special rate of €46 instead of €75.
